Iced Coffee

Okay.

I just did that thing where you freeze the coffee in an ice cube tray and add milk so as to not dilute your iced coffee and WOW!

I used Fresh Market tiramisu flavored freshly ground coffee and unsweetened vanilla almond milk from Trader Joe's and I am NOT disappointed!
It is truly truly delicious!

My name is Charlotte, 22, vegetarian, and I moved to Richmond, VA in November, 2013 from rural upstate NY with my boyfriend, Grant to work with AmeriCorps, preventing childhood obesity in the greater Richmond area...

The process has been exhilarating and wonderful! Museums, festivals, music, but most importantly- FOOD. Overwhelmed by endless choices and possibilities we have fallen prey to foodie life. Richmond is loaded with eateries and we have made it our goal to not revisit the same place twice- and we have yet to be disappointed!

On top of that- getting out on our own has really pushed us to expand our horizons and refine our cooking skills (as well as push the envelope of our budget. An AmeriCorps stipend does not allow for a cushy life style, let alone a full refrigerator). But nevertheless, we can't get enough! This culinary exploration truly brings us joy. I hope to share a little of this joy with all of you along with tips, recipes, pictures and recommendations. I hope you find this enlightening and helpful!
